I can clearly remember, like most mothers I’m sure, the very moment I gave birth to my daughter, Kenna. I was absolutely over the moon in feelings of love and gratitude.

And then, once we were in the mother-baby room later that morning, I was equally overwhelmed with nervousness and utter exhaustion. The nervousness dissipated with practice, but the exhaustion continued for weeks until I learned that babies can sleep through the night with just a little guidance, and this isn’t just a magic trick.
