Go to bed! Brain Researchers Warn Lack of Sleep is a Public Health Crisis

The studies described in this article suggest that lack of sleep results in:

  • Poorer performance on tasks involving memory in preschoolers
  • Increased risk of Alzheimer’s
  • Increased rates of anxiety
  • Decreased learning capacity

The scientists in this article also mention that kids are missing out on sleep, which is critical to their learning and growth, but say that they aren’t even sure how to make recommendations to get more sleep… good news for you is that I DO KNOW how to get your child more sleep!
